A richly carved Jacobean three seat settee made of oak. Square seat cushions and oval back cushions are upholstered in a traditional diamond cut yellow velvet. The seat back is carved with scrolled acanthus leaves and berry trimmed rosettes, supported at each end by barley twist posts topped with acorn finials. Urns flanked with cherubs decorate the crest rail, mirrored below on the frieze. Barley twist legs are supported with an H-stretcher and finish in bun feet.
