An outstanding 19th-C. English mahogany grand wardrobe, which features solid mahogany construction, hand carved details and gold plated hardware. The interior consists of twin compartments finely finished with fitted hanging compartments over two full drawers. Quality English craftsmanship can be observed throughout, including in the hand cut dovetail drawer construction. Can be used without crown. Body/carcass, 96.0" L. x 23.0" W. Maker’s mark, "James Shoolbred & Co.", on top of drawer front.
